What is Vulvodynia
Vulvar pain also known as Vulvodynia is chronic, unexplained pain in the area around the opening of the vagina. It can resolve within months of onset. Vulvodynia can be so uncomfortable that some activities can feel unbearable, such as sitting for long periods of time or having sex. Abrasive activities, such as biking, should also be avoided. Other treatments include oral and topical medications and biofeedback therapy. Consult a doctor for medical advice.
